Azra: "Hello, my question is: Can you lacquer your nails after the wudu and then pray with lacquered nails?"

LACQUERING NAILS IN ISLAM
There are forbidden processes (for women), which are unfortunately something common today: -colouring your hair in black -removing your eyebrows -tattooing -wigs -perfume -make-up -lacquering your fingernails The last 3 are allowed only at home, but the other are totally forbidden.
A women can lacquer her nails, but when she wants to pray she has to completely clean her nails. Like Prophet a.s. says: "A person with no wudu has no salat." We have to be aware of the problem. Even face-cream mustn't be used if the water can't get to your skin. In case a woman lacquers her nails after making wudu then this colour (on her nails) is like an uncleanliness. Allah knows best!
