Muslim bonds
Interesting question for today's realtions. We will try to answer you with the hadith and lectures.
Abu Hurejre r.a. says that Muhammed a.s. said: »Noone has the right to avoid his muslim brother more than 3 days. But who does avoid his muslim brother and dies, he will be a resident of fire.«
Imam Teberani adds: »…unless if Allah has mercy on him and forgives him.«
Imam Ahmed marks: »Who leaves his muslim brother for one year, is the same as he had killed him – as he had spilled his blood.«
Abdullah ibn Mes'ud r.a. says that Muhammed a.s. said: »If two muslims would avoid eachother after accepting islam. They won't do that by one of them has already leaft islam.« Further it is marked: »…but the return to his brother is to greed him with salam.«
History says that the sahaba had a habit of isolating themselves from other people and saying that they won't talk to them any more. But this was all righteous, because someone wasn't following the islamic law.
Imam Buhari marks a story that Abdullah ibn Zubejr (son of Asma r.a.) said, when he heard that Aisha r.a. is sharing her property: »If Aisha won't stop sharing I would get angry and I won't talk with her again.« When Aisha r.a. heard that, she said: »O my Allah! Did he really say that?« They said: »Yes, he did.« Her response was: »I swear by God that I won't talk with him fot the rest of my life and I don't want to see him again.« Abdullah ibn Zubejr wasn't allowed to go to his aunt. He tried to soften her over the sahaba but he didn't succeed. So one day he came to two sahaba and asked them to help him. They decided to help him. They cowered themselves with one mantle and went to Aisha's door and knocked. Aisha asked: »Who is it?« The two sahaba responded but Abhullah was quiet. So she said: »Enter.« They asked: »All of us?« She said: »All of you.« When they entered Abdullah ibn Zubejr gave a hug to his aunt, started kissing her and asking for forgiveness. She didn't want to forgive him as long as the two sahaba advised her to do it. She forgave him and started criing. She liberated 40 slaves.
We repeat that this was all righteous and that Aisha r.a. wasn't necessary to forgive Abdullah ibn Zubejr.
Allah knows best.
